By registering with MoboEV, selecting rental plans, making payments, or using rental services, the rider agrees to this policy.
2. Nature of Services
MoboEV provides company-owned electric two-wheelers on rental basis to approved riders after successful registration and KYC verification.
Rental services are operational in nature and may involve:
- Vehicle reservation
- Vehicle allotment
- KYC processing
- Fleet management
- Maintenance scheduling
- Operational allocation
- Security and verification procedures
Accordingly, certain charges may become non-refundable after service activation or operational allocation.
3. Cancellation Before Vehicle Allotment
A rider may request cancellation before vehicle allotment.
In such cases:
- Eligible payments may be refunded after deduction of applicable processing charges, verification expenses, gateway charges, or administrative costs.
- KYC verification charges, if any, may be non-refundable.
- Refund eligibility shall depend upon operational processing already completed by the Company.
4. Cancellation After Vehicle Allotment
Once a vehicle has been allotted, reserved, or operationally assigned to a rider:

- Administrative, logistics, fleet reservation, inspection, onboarding, or operational expenses may be deducted.

5. Cancellation After Rental Start
Once the rental period has commenced or the vehicle has been handed over:
- Rental charges already utilized shall generally be non-refundable.
- Early return of vehicle does not guarantee proportional refund.
- Pending dues, penalties, damages, or operational charges may be adjusted before any settlement.
Refund requests in exceptional circumstances may be reviewed at the sole discretion of the Company.
6. Security Deposit Refunds
Where applicable, security deposits may be refundable subject to:
- Successful vehicle inspection
- No pending dues
- No damage liability
- No traffic challans
- No missing accessories
- No agreement violations
- No recovery expenses
The Company may deduct amounts towards:
- Vehicle damages
- Battery damages
- Missing charger or accessories
- Cleaning charges
- Late payment dues
- Overdue penalties
- Legal or recovery expenses
- Traffic violations
Remaining eligible balance, if any, may be refunded after settlement processing.
7. Refund Processing Timeline
Approved refunds are generally processed within 7 to 30 working days depending on:
- Inspection status
- Payment gateway processing

- Banking timelines
- Pending disputes or liabilities
Actual credit timelines may vary depending on banks or payment providers.

9. Failed or Duplicate Transactions

10. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
If a rider initiates a chargeback or payment dispute without valid operational basis:
- The Company reserves the right to suspend services.
- Pending liabilities may remain enforceable.

Operational records, allotment logs, digital communication records, and payment logs may be used as supporting evidence in dispute resolution.
11. Vehicle Non-Availability
In rare situations where the Company is unable to provide a vehicle after confirmed approval:
- The rider may be offered alternate allotment options, revised timelines, or refund eligibility as determined by the Company.
Operational limitations, maintenance requirements, or fleet availability may affect allotment schedules.
12. Plan Changes & Renewals
The rider may apply for renewal, upgrade, downgrade, or change of rental plan after completion or expiry of the current active plan.
Any unused portion of an existing plan shall not automatically qualify for refund unless specifically approved by the Company.
New plans shall become applicable according to revised pricing and operational policies at the time of activation.
13. Fraudulent Activities
Refunds or cancellations may be rejected in cases involving:
- Fake documentation
- Identity fraud
- Misrepresentation
- Policy abuse
- Payment fraud
- Vehicle misuse
- Agreement violations
The Company reserves the right to initiate legal proceedings where necessary.
